Biography
Diana Fuentes Baez is a paralegal at Gertsburg Licata and a licensed attorney in Colombia. She primarily supports Constance (Connie) Powall, Partner, assisting with estate planning, trusts, wills, probate administrations, business matters, legal research, document drafting, and case management.
Before joining Gertsburg Licata, Diana practiced law in Colombia, where she independently represented clients from the initial consultation through resolution. She advised clients, drafted legal pleadings and other legal documents, appeared before courts, and handled litigation and other legal matters across a broad range of practice areas.
She also completed a judicial clerkship with an Administrative Court, gaining valuable experience in legal research, judicial writing, legal analysis, and court procedures.
A native Spanish speaker fluent in English, Diana also assists the firm by communicating with Spanish-speaking clients, conducting client interviews, explaining legal processes in their native language, and facilitating communication between attorneys and clients when needed.
Awards and Recognition
Diana is currently pursuing licensure as a Foreign Legal Consultant before the Supreme Court of Ohio.
Education
Diana graduated from the Universidad Santo Tomás in Colombia with a Law Degree (LL.B. Equivalent) in 2021.
