2. Wins and Closings – We’ve been resolving disputes, closing deals and solving problems for our clients and are proud to share some of our wins here:

• Successfully defended a motor vehicle dealer and got the client dismissed from the litigation on Rule 12(B) Motion to Dismiss [Douglass v. American Honda Motor Co., Inc., et al.]
• Helped 4 clients set up and launch their new companies: a commercial audiovisual company, an educational/tutorial learning center, and two different consulting companies
• Recruited an in-house General Counsel for a client with 400 employees in multiple states
• Represented a client in connection with an SBA commercial real estate and working capital loan, facilitating a closing on an $842,000 credit facility
• Worked with individual client injured in a catastrophic car accident and one of Cleveland’s top injury attorneys, who obtained a multi-million-dollar settlement for client
• Represented client in connection with sale of a Honda motor vehicle dealership in Ohio and related commercial real estate transaction
• Obtained significant settlement for client in legal malpractice action

3. Recent Events – The attorneys of Gertsburg Law have been making a number of appearances recently, to share information on business law for entrepreneurs.

• Nick Weiss presented “From Sale to Payoff: How to Protect Your Rights as a Creditor” to auto dealers at two separate conferences: the National Independent Automobile Dealers Association NABD Buy Here, Pay Here Subprime Conference in Chicago, IL on October 8^th and the Ohio Independent Automobile Dealers Association Expo annual convention on November 9^th.

• Alex Gertsburg explained “How to Lawyer-Proof your Business” to attendees at the COSE Small Business Resource Fair in October, and before that he was an invited speaker at the Skoda Minotti Owners’ Roundtable where he covered “Protecting Value – How to de-risk your business and yourself to protect the current value”.

• Alex was also featured on Sliced, a podcast from Apple Growth Partners offering cutting-edge advice for growing your business.
