Biography

Mr. Beardsley dedicates his practice to counseling businesses on business law, corporate governance, commercial contracts, and corporate and real estate transactions. As an industrial engineer, Mr. Beardsley is uniquely attuned to the needs and goals of business and has on-the-floor experience working with Ohio businesses of various sizes to achieve those goals. Mr. Beardsley’s law practice began with counseling start-up companies and venture finance investors on investment transactions, joint development agreements, and employee incentive plans to aid emerging businesses on their path to commercialization.

Mr. Beardsley lives in Mentor, Ohio with his wife, Caitlyn.

Education

Mr. Beardsley graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.  In law school, he received the CALI Excellence for the Future award for his performance in Corporate Real Estate Transactions.  He served as an extern for the Hon. Alan M. Koschik of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Ohio and Parker Hannifin’s intellectual property group.  Michael also was a student associate in Case Western’s Intellectual Property Venture Clinic. Mr. Beardsley graduated cum laude from The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering. He is also Green Belt certified (The Ohio State University) in Integrated Lean Six Sigma.
