The Gertsburg Law Firm is looking forward to serving businesses and the community in 2019. Here are some of the things we’ve been working on.
1. Gertsburg Law Named To Weatherhead 100 Upstarts List – The Gertsburg Law Firm was honored to be selected for the 2018 Weatherhead Upstart 100 Award, which recognizes companies that demonstrate leadership, growth, and success, with Upstarts being fast-growing companies selected for their percent of revenue growth over the past five years. Since its inception, Gertsburg Law has focused on being a market disrupter by implementing practices and processes that help small businesses save money on legal fees, most recently with its CoverMySix legal startup and audit service.
2. Rising Star and Super Lawyer Awards – CEO Alex Gertsburg, has been selected to the Super Lawyers list for the fourth year in a row. Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected to receive this honor. In addition, GLF Attorney Max Julian has been selected to the 2019 Ohio Rising Stars list. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive this honor annually.

4. Looking ahead to 2019 – At the end of the year, we took time to think about the lessons learned in 2018 and how to make the new year even more successful. Alex Gertsburg shared the firm’s strategy for next year in an interview with Shawn Turner of COSE last month. 5. Alex Gertsburg Appointed to COSE Executive Board – Gertsburg Law Firm Founder Alex Gertsburg has been appointed to COSE’s Executive Board. COSE, The Council of Smaller Enterprises, is an arm of the Greater Cleveland Partnership, which is the City of Cleveland’s Chamber of Commerce. The COSE Board of Advisors speaks and acts on behalf of the membership and provides oversight and guidance in matters of policy related to its priority and mission of small business growth and success. As a Board Member and business attorney, Alex is dedicated to the continued advancement of Northeast Ohio’s small business community.
